I have made the Granny triangle in Red, white, and Blue as we have the upcoming Royal coronation and I needed some bunting FAST to help the local hall decorate for the celebrations.

CORNER - (3DC, ch4, 3DC) ALL worked into the previous rounds Chain 4
DC - Double Crochet
Using RED to start, using ANY yarn and Any hook suitable to the project.
(I used Double knit and a 4,00mm hook )
NOTE to start: Chain 4, working ALL of the stitches of the FIRST round Into the First chain!
Or you can Ch4, join with a slst in the first ch to form a ring and work ALL first rounds into this ring.
If you are only using ONE colour, slip stitch along to the first ch4 space to START the next round
Rnd 1: ch4, (counts as 1st DC), 2DC into the first chain, *, ch4, 3DC all into the first chain* rep from * to * once more, ch4, join with slst into top of starting ch 4 You will now have (3 x 3DC groups, 3 x chain 4 spaces at the corners)

Rnd 2: Join new Colour in ANY ch4 space. working all next stitches into the Ch4 corner, Ch4, (counts as 1st DC), 2DC, Ch4, 3DC (corner made)
* Ch1 skip over to the NEXT ch4 space and work, (3DC, Ch4, 3DC into previous rounds ch 4 space* rep from * to *, ch1, join with slst into the top of the beginning chain (you will now have three 3DC, ch4, 3DC - corners, with three 3dc ch1s between )
Rnd 3: Join new Colour in ANY ch4 space. (or if using the SAME colour slip stitch along to the first ch4 space)

I finished off HERE for the Celebration bunting.
I then crocheted another 9 making a total of 10 Crochet Triangles.
For the string to hang your bunting.
I used Blue yarn and Chained 15, working into the back loops of ONE side of your crocheted triangle, sc into each stitch (including 2 chain stitches at EACH END to join the bunting to the garland.
