I am also seeing  More and More Brides to be looking to create a crochet flower bouquet for their wedding!  I think this is wonderful as my own wedding bouquet did not last long, But being crocheted means the Brides and bridesmaids' bouquets can last forever! 

What is the best yarn for crochet flower bouquets?

I suggest using a double-knit yarn (Light Worsted Weight - US) and when working on a more 3D-shaped flower I prefer to use the YARN UNDER method when making a single crochet.  It is not that difficult to work the yarn under Instead of YARN OVER your hook just make sure you are pulling through the yarn UNDER your stitch.

What size hook do you use to crochet flowers?

I prefer to use a smaller hook than suggested for a DK yarn, so most of my Crocheted flowers are made using a 3.5 mm or a 3.00mm, however the tiny flowers I usually still use a DK yarn and a 2.50 mm hook. It all depends on the finished look you are going for.

 Crochet Flower Douquet Materials 

Buy Crafting Supplies HERE (*af) 

To turn your croche flowers into a Bouquet you will need: 

Wooden sticks (BBQ kebab sticks or similar) 

Glue gun / or some type of Glue

Your chosen crochet flowers have already been made (see Flower Patterns Below) 

Secure the green yarn at one end of the stick, wind the yarn around to the end of the stick, and glue it to hold in position. Depending on the style of the flower you can attach the FLOWER HEAD at this point
