FREE crochet Flower Pattern to create a 3 layer crochet flower pattern free by Lisa Auch Crochet. I have included step by step photos and a written crochet pattern to help you crochet this flower with 3 layers.
I love to crochet flowers, they are so easy to make. Crochet flowers are a delight to crochet and once you have the hang of a basic flower shape the list is endless to the pretty flower appliqués you can make to finish off your projects.
This is a basic Crochet Flower Pattern and you can use any hook and any yarn to create the flower which means you can add it to any project you are working on in the yarn and hook you already have.
Just remember If you are using a thick yarn and a large hook you will end up with a large layered flower.
You can also continue working in the back round of each row and create as many layers as you wish for your flower
I used a 4.00mm hook and DK for the pics in the tutorial.
NOTES:
bpsc- you will be required to know work to work a BACK POST SINGLE CROCHET around post of previous bpsc

Crochet Flowers Some have asked me for the crochet flower pattern a hat (below)
The little flowers on the booties are tiny small crochet roses, and picot stitch along the top before sewing together
 |
Crochet Baby hat and Booties |
Simply follow the instructions above and make the 3d flower.
Choose you contrasting color and work around each petal using picot stitch {sc Chain1} into each stitch around of each petal and on every round.
This also works really well for when you have crocheted a rose flower.
And before you stitch it up, work the last row a picot stitch row.
