What can you crochet for a new baby?
I am often asked what to crochet for a new baby and I have crocheted so many baby items and baby sets over the years but my all-time favorite thing to crochet is a newborn cardigan, baby hat, and booties.
I always am asked if I could make the cardigan to fit the Very FIRST size for newborns where everything seems just too big, or the baby has lost a little weight when coming home and everything just seems to drown them apart from their newborn all-in-one suits, (*AF) little vests and a small cardigan.
Actually, finding a SMALL newborn cardigan even in the shops is somewhat difficult, hence why I have made Megans Baby Crochet cardigan pattern
