You do NOT need to know how to make a magic ring (I find the magic ring can unravel, and is sometimes difficult to pull tight to close) - You will chain 2 LOOSLEY to start and work the first round INTO the first chain from the hook
Materials you will require to crochet the Heart
Yarn used - Himalayan Dolphin
Abbreviations - Pattern is written in US terms
ch - chain
sl st - slip stitch
sc - single crochet
2sc - work 2 single crochet into the one stitch
2sctog - work 2 single crochet together (IF you are confident at amigurumi style crochet. Work an invisible decrease by working the 2 stitches in the front loop only together)
st - stitch
From *to* - repeat instructions from the first * to the next *
Working in continuous rounds, use a stitch marker.
Ch2,
Rnd 1: work 3sc into the first chain. (3sts)
Rnd 2: *2sc into each st around, (6 sts)
Rnd 3: *2sc in next st, sc in the next st* Repeat from *to* around (9sts)
Rnd 4: *2sc in next st, sc in the next st * Repeat from *to* around (14 sts)
Rnd 5: *sc in next 2sts, 2sc in the next st* Repeat from *to* around ( 18 sts)
Rnd 6: *2sc in next st, sc in the next 2sts* Repeat from *to* around (24 sts)
Rnd 7: sc in each st around (24 sts)
Rnd 8: *2sc in next st, sc in the next 3 sts* Repeat from *to* around (30sts)
Rnd 9: sc in each st around (30 sts)
Rnd 10: *2sc in next st, sc in the next 4 sts* Repeat from *to* around (36 sts)
Rnd 11 to Rnd 14: sc in each stitch around (36sts) PLACE Stitch Marker HERE
YOu will now split the heart into 2 equal parts to make the top humps
Rnd 15: sc in each of the next 18sts, Jump OVER to the MARKER (beginning of new round)
Rnd 16: sc in each st around (18sts)
Rnd 17: sc in each st around (18 sts) (start stuffing the heart and shaping here)
Rnd 18: *2sctog, sc in the next st* repeat from * to * around (12sts)
add more stuffing to shape and fill the rest of the heart here.
Rnd 20 : *2sctog,* repeat from * to * around (6sts)
Fasten off and weave the long tail around the first 6 sts and pull to close, Weave in ends
Joining your yarn in the stitch NEXT to the stitch beside the first hump (Middle of Heart)
Repeat from Rnd 15 for the SECOND HUMP remembering to stuff completely before the final round.
Fasten off and weave in all ends
