Free crochet HEART applique pattern is written for small and medium-sized crochet heart appliques.
These cute little crochet hearts are really easy to-crochet projects, they are made in rows and using single crochet (US) or in Double crochet (UK).
The little hearts are so cute just used as an embellishment for a hat, cardigan blanket, to make a heart garland, or to put onto a handmade valentines card.
These crochet hearts are a super quick, stash buster, and such an easy valentines crochet project.
Both hearts are so easy to crochet as they are made in ROWS, using single crochet (US) or double crochet (UK)
It was the nurse who actually suggested something that the kids could keep and give half to their daddy on a card. And he would get to see it when he was feeling better
For the medium-sized heart, I used a 3.00mm hook and a small amount of red yarn, and I also used a 3.00 mm hook for the size smaller crochet heart.
Several of these little hearts will make a pretty heart garland, and with the small heart, I think I will make 2 sew them together and pop them onto my keyring.
It turned out so cute.
Both crochet heart sizes are finished by single crocheting evenly around the edges.
Then if you are joining 2 hearts together, work with both right sides facing outwards and sew in whip stitch connecting the BACK LOOPS of each stitch this gives a nice clean finish.
