Mothers Day Gift to Crochet with this Free Crochet Lavender Potpourri Holder Pattern. This is such a Beautiful easy crochet pattern that makes a gorgeous lavender potpourri holder.
I have my little lavender pot on my bedside table and love the soothing effects of the scent.
Lavender Scent is Excellent for helping you drift off to sleep. I suffer from Rheumatoid Arthritis, I try not to let it get me down, and find lavender very beneficial for helping me when my symptoms flare-up. Lavender is mostly known for its health benefits and also the beautiful flowers are so delicate.
I have the most beautiful FRENCH LAVENDER -( Lavendula stoechas) In my front garden and every time I see it I have always wondered if I could somehow re-create it with yarn.
I eventually decided to go with a single crochet V stitch, as I loved how it looked like the main part of the flower. And went on to re-create the leaves with descending stitches all worked into the one stitch. Just add in your favorite Potpourri.
Finish off with a white ribbon threaded around through the alternate DC V rounds and if I do say so myself I think it turned out spectacularly.
