Easy Toddlers Crochet Summer Hat with Crochet Flower (FREE Pattern)

Free Crochet Toddler Summer Hat Pattern

sun hat free crochet pattern-baby hat pattern-crochet hat pattern-6-12 month

I love this easy crochet sunhat hat pattern. great for a toddler. As it sits nice and snug around the head yet the fluted brim will help to keep the sun's rays away.
SO soft  I used a lightweight cotton and size 4.0  hook
Hat with flower is worked in half double crochet
The hat measures about 16 inches in circumference around the baby's head and 17.5 inches, around the bottom circumference of the hat. Which gives it that delightful fluted bucket hat look.
Finish off with some ribbon or as I have done a lovely little Crochet FLower
This Pattern was one I wrote way back in the beginning!
SO this has now been re-worked revised and re-written.

Easy Crochet Baby Sun Hat (6-12month- Toddler) FREE Crochet Pattern

How cute is this crochet baby bucket hat. This is a really easy pattern to make this adorable sun hat, which is perfect for a toddler, due to the light weight of the pattern when worked up and the lovely fluted brim, ensures baby is well protected from the sun all around making this a a firm go-to favorite baby sun hat pattern with me.
The crochet baby bucket hat pattern can be made in any color making it perfect for boys as well.

This is adorable sun hat was actually made for my niece when she was 18 months old, (but she was a very small baby) The hat is 16 inches in circumference around the widest part of the head and fits a 6-12-month-old toddler. If I wanted a slightly smaller size for ages 3-6 months I would drop a half hook size to a 3.50 mm

Mr Ted - A free Teddy Bear Crochet Pattern
Crochet a cute Teddy Bear with this Free Crochet Pattern. There are literally 100's of free patterns for teddies online so I thought instead of creating another one why not find these patterns and make them... Over the years I have crocheted several teddies from small to large.
This one is just so Quick and Easy to crochet it makes a fab last minute gift!!

THIS   Free Crochet pattern   is cute and easy to make.

It is made in several separate small pieces then, stuffed and sewn together.
Pretty easy, especially if you are new to Amigurumi, and making toys.

I also never used safety eyes, I just sewed them into place using black yarn.

I used a Bulky weight Yarn and a 3.50mm hook. And measures around 12 inches head to toe.
This is a great, easy and quick to make up a pattern to crochet a gift.

Crochet a Cool Cosy Cowl EASY FAST Last Minute Crochet Gift! (FREE PATTERN)

A Free Crochet Pattern to create a beautiful Crochet Cowl. This crochet cowl is very easy to make and uses several sizes of crochet hooks to achieve the look. The Free Crochet Pattern for the Cowl is located further down this page.

free crochet cowl pattern

Do you need a last-minute Quick EASY Crochet Gift Idea? This crochet cowl makes a fabulous last-minute crochet gift.

The gorgeous crochet cowl was made using a fabulous thick bulky weight yarn.

It is cleverly made using 3 sizes of hooks giving a nice shape to the cowl to fit perfectly around your shoulders and neck.

We will use a stitch called the linen or moss stitch, which is a lovely textured crochet stitch usually seen in blanket patterns, however when you work the moss stitch in the round you a wonderful reversible pattern.

Making this is ideal for making a cowl where you see both sides when worn.

Apologies for the Photo Quality but I just caught my daughter going out with her new Cowl on!

I have a Free Crochet pattern for a Hooded Cowl With Turtleneck.

Which is also extremely popular and very cosy.

It is very stylish as it incorporates the ribbed nack and if needed can be used as a face covering keeping the chill at bay

Hooded Cowl Crochet Pattern Ribbed Turtleneck FREE CROCHET PATTERN

You can make this cowl any size you wish as it is rather clever how it is crocheted in the round.

As you chain the beginning number required and join into a circle,

then chain 2 (counts as first sc, chain 1),

*skip first stitch and sc, ch1 in next, * Repeating this all the way around,

when we get to where we joined the starting chain,

we carry on working straight into the FIRST space made by the chain 2 at the beginning and continue working *Skip the first stitch,  sc, ch1 in next, *

in a spiral around and for as many rows as you wish.

You will notice the very first round is left with Gaps, we will thread 2 lengths of yarn alternatively through these and tie in a bow to finish.

To be honest you could make this Cowl using any hook size and any yarn weight by following the instructions as below, however.

Make sure the Starting chain fits comfortably around your neck and can be pulled over your head.

PLEASE read through this page and all notes before starting. (It is not written like a conventional Crochet Pattern)

Free Crochet Cowl Pattern (Crochet Neck Warmer)

I used a 5.00mm, 6.00mm and a 7.00m hook *

Starting with the LARGEST hook,

Chain  100

Ch2 (counts as first sc,ch,  *Skip first stitch,  sc, ch1 in next, * repeat this sequence around to the join where we will skip over and work into the SPACE made from the first Ch2 we made.

Continue working in the round by *Skip first stitch,  sc, ch1 in next, *

Work 5 rounds with Largest hook

Work further 5 rounds in Middle Sized hook

And finish with the smallest hook

Last Round is single crochet in every stitch around.

This gives added weight to the bottom of the cowl which helps it sit nicer too.

FREE Crochet Hat Patterns for Women (7 FREE Crochet Hat Patterns)

hat crochet pattern woman bucket hat

I just love crochet hats. This is a collection of my favorite crochet hat patterns.  I have made for
myself and family members as gifts.
This (right) was one of the VERY first crochet hats I made, when I wanted desperately to learn how to crochet a hat for myself, I was so surprised at how easy it really was. And as you can see in the picture turned out very well indeed.
This Hat Pattern for a woman is very adaptable, and fits perfectly, as the design makes it a snug fit.
I love it, I have lots in different colors, and always get comments and admiring glances.

I was not looking for the beanie or skull caps but wanted something with a little flair and something that would not keep my neck area warm too.
By adding in the extra edging details and easy crochet flower embellishment just adds that 20's feel.

The hat pictured above took me just under 2 hours to complete.

You can Visit my page For the full and step by step photos, also includes a printable version of the  FREE Crochet Hat Patterns

Or how about this fashionable chic woman's hat with a peaked brim. Looks complicated but the stitch pattern is so easy and works up quickly, I have also included links to some of y most popular Crochet Hats that I have made and have made fast easy gifts for people. I get asked to make these time and time again in an array of colors
