I love the simplicity of crocheting flowers, yet the effect is stunning and can add a little pizzazz to a headband, a crochet hat or in fact any of your crochet projects. So I am going to show you step by step this easy layered crochet flower.   This is a nice flat sitting 3 layer crochet flower, I used double knit yarn and  4.00mm hook,  this was so I could get good clear photos for the crochet flower tutorial.           Ch 8, join with sl st to form a ring Rnd 1:  Ch 1, working in ring, 1 sc, 1 hdc, 4 dc, 1 hdc, 2 sc, 1 hdc, 4 dc, 1 hdc, 1 sc, sl st on the 1st sc. (16 sts)         Rnd 2: Ch 1, sc in same st, (Ch 3, skip one st, sc on next st) repeat around, join. (8 x ch3 loops ) Rnd 3: (Sc, hdc, 3 dc, hdc, sc) in ch-3 loop, sl st in sc} repeat around, join. How to crochet an EASY Newborn Infant Beanie Crochet Hat Pattern FREE

This is a free crochet pattern for a newborn beanie. The stretchiness of the infant crochet hat pattern means it is also perfect for donating to hospitals.  On coming out of hospital newborn babies must be kept cozy and warm as they can rapidly lose weight.
