Well, I have the perfect easter themed crochet pattern just for you. But credit to my grandson who asked me if I could make him a Chicken with a chick for his easter (and a Tractor- Pattern will be released at a later date)
The Pattern is very simple and Easy to follow. The free crochet pattern will help you to crochet a small amigurumi-style plush chicken and chick

You can use any yarn and hook
I used thick blanket yarn and a 5.50mm hook
YOu will need some stuffing and some safety eyes (use the pictures as guides to help with placement
Do not join, work in continuous rounds, and move the stitch marker at end of each round.
Ch- chain
St – stitch
Sc – single crochet
*To* repeat around
The BODY (Same for both chick and HEN)
Rnd 1: Ch2, make 7 Sc into the first Chain (7sts)
Rnd 2: 2Sc in each stitch, repeat * to * around (14sts)
Rnd 3: *2Sc into the next st, Sc into the next st* repeat * to * around (21sts)
Rnd 4: *2Sc into the next st, Sc into the next 2 sts,* repeat * to * around (28sts)
Rnd 5: *2Sc into the next st, Sc into the next 3 sts,* repeat * to * around (35sts)
Rnd 6: Sc in each stitch, repeat * to * around (35 sts)
Rnd 7: Sc in each stitch, repeat * to * around (35sts)
Rnd 8: 2sctog, Sc into the next st, repeat * to * around,
Rnd 9: *sc into the next st, 2sctog into the next* repeat a* to * around
STUFF HERE
Rnd 10: 2sctog, and fasten off and weave in ends.
Wings (make 2)
Chain 4, work 2dc into the first chain from the hook, ch3, and slip st, into the same space.
Fasten OFF leaving a long tail to join to the body.
Sew the wings onto the body with 11 stitches between them (Use the picture as a guide for placement)

Working into the 4th chain from hook (counts as the first dc), work
*2dc, chain1, slip st all into the SAME space, chain3*
REPEAT into the last next 2 chains
