Easy Crochet Pumpkin pattern, in 3 sizes, small, medium, and large, to make Easy Chunky Ribbed Pumpkins that are very easy to crochet.

Pumpkin Windspinner Crochet Pattern FREE |
All sizes of the pumpkin are crocheted in ROWS, folded in half and seams joined to make a tube, Gather the top of the pumpkin by weaving the yarn through the top stitches and pull to tighten, you will stuff to shape and close the bottom of the pumpkin by weaving yarn through the stitches and pulling to tighten.
I used Chunky Blanket Yarn (Chunky 5) (*AF) For the 3 sizes I used 2 Balls of this yarn,
Abbreviations: US terminology
bl-slst = Back loop slip stitch
hdc =half double crochet
The Stem is made in the SAME way for each size just adjusting your starting chain.
Chain 11, work 2sc INTO the 2nd chain from hook and 2sc into each stitch back along the chain.
Small Crochet Pumpkin Pattern
Chain 15 to start
Row 1: slst into the second chain to start, hdc into the next 12 sts, slip st into the LAST st, Ch1, TURN
Row 2: Working Into the Back loops from here on
bl slst, bl hdc, into the next 12 sts, bl-slst into the last st. Ch1, TURN
Row 3 to Row 15: Repeat Row 2
Fasten off leaving a long tail to sew together.
1. fold in half and sew together the seams to make a tube,
2. weave your needle and thread through the top of the pumpkin and PULL tight to close.
3. STUFF the pumpkin until you are happy with the shape.
4. Weave the needle with your yarn through the ridges of the hdc stitches and pull to close
Small Crochet Leaf Pattern (4.00 mm hook and 1 strand of Double knit yarn)
Round 1: ch4, work 15 dc into the FIRST chain from the hook. ch3, and slip into the beginning chain to finish.
Round 2: slip 3 sts up , 3 trc in to first st,2trc in next st, dc in next 2sts, hdc in next 3 sts, in next st work (dc,ch1,dc) in same space, HDC in next 3 sts, dc in next 2 sts, 2trc in next st, 3trc in last st, chain 3 and slip to join onto the TOP of the previous row to finish. Fasten OFF

Chain 25 to start
Row 1: slst into the second, and 3rd chains to start, hdc into the next 20 sts, slip st into LAST 2 sts, Ch1, TURN
Row 2: Working Into the Back loops from here on
bl-slst into the first 2 sts, bl-hdc into the next 20 sts until the LAST 2sts, bl slst into the last 2 sts.Ch1, TURN
Row 3 to Row 25: Repeat Row 2
Fasten off leaving a long tail to sew together.
Assembly of the Medium pumpkin.
1. fold in half and sew together the seams to make a tube,
2. weave your needle and thread through the top of the pumpkin and PULL tight to close.
3. STUFF the pumpkin until you are happy with the shape.
4. Weave the needle with your yarn through the ridges of the hdc stitches and pull to close
Medium Crochet Leaf for a Pumpkin (4.50 mm hook and Double Knit yarn )
Row 1: ch4, work 15 hdc into the FIRST chain from the hook. ch3, and slip into the beginning chain to finish.
Row 2: ch3, 3 trc in to first st,2trc in next st, dc in nxt 2sts, hdc in next 3 sts, in next st work (dc, ch1, dc) in same space, HDC in next 3 sts, dc in next 2 sts, 2trc in next st, 3trc in last st, chain 3 and slip to join onto the TOP of the previous row to join, slip stitch down the previous rows last st,
Row 3: slip stitch to the top of beginning st, work 2sc into the first st, 3hdc in the next st,hdc in the next 8 sts, dc in next st, Work (2dc, ch1, 2dc) ALL in the next st, dc in next st, hdc in next 8 sts 3hdc in the next, 2sc into the last st, and slip to join to top of row 2. fasten off and weave in ends to finish
Large Crochet Pumpkin Pattern
Chain 37 to start
Row 1: slst into the 2nd, 3rd & 4th chains to start, hdc into the next 30sts, slip st into the LAST st, Ch1, TURN
Row 2: Working Into the Back loops from here on
bl-slst into the first 3sts, bl-hdc into the next 30 sts until the LAST 2sts, bl-slst into the last 3ststs.
Row 3 to Row 30 : repeat Row 2
Assembly of the LARGE pumpkin.
1. fold in half and sew together the seams to make a tube,
2. weave your needle and thread through the top of the pumpkin and PULL tight to close.
3. STUFF the pumpkin until you are happy with the shape.
4. Weave the needle with your yarn through the ridges of the hdc stitches and pull to close
For the Large Crochet Leaf for the Pumpkin Use 2 strands and 6.00mm hook
Row 1: ch4, work 15 hdc into the FIRST chain from the hook. ch3, and slip into the beginning chain to finish.
Row 2: ch3, 3 trc in to first st,2trc in next st, dc in nxt 2sts, hdc in next 3 sts, in next st work (dc,ch1,dc) ALL in same space, HDC in next 3 sts, dc in next 2 sts, 2trc in next st, 3trc in last st, chain 3 and slip to join onto the TOP of the previous row to join, slip stitch down the previous rows last st,
Row 3: slip stitch to the top of beginning st, work 2sc into the first st, 3hdc in the next st,hdc in the next 8 sts, dc in next st, Work (2dc, ch1, 2dc) ALL in the next st, , dc in, next st, hdc in next 8 sts 3hdc in the next, 2sc into the last st, and slip to join to top of row 2.
