The sunflower crochet wind spinner is such a beautiful fun addition to the outdoors or even as I do have hanging at the front window.

Sunflower Windspinner Crochet Pattern |
I Love to crochet wind spinners for friends as gifts. They are hypnotizing to sit and watch in the cool breeze.
After decorating the conservatory recently I wanted something nice to go with the color scheme and the sunflowers were just the right colors.I have also made many over the last year or so and crocheted a wind spinner to match each of the seasons and holidays.

My favorite has to be the Pumpkin Halloween-themed wind spinner decoration. Also, the red and black poppy windspinner is super popular

I have found DK weight yarn the best (any heavier it just does not spin at all), or lovely cotton and keep stitches tight and even as you work
Each ROW is started at the beginning so all stitches will go in one direction.
If you CAN try to get a swivel hook (kind of like the really small fishing swingles they use and tie the end of the Spinner with ONE thread to dangle from. )
Use a single thread to attach to the end of the spinner, to hang
I have made my wind spinners either way up and have not noticed much of a difference. The secret seems to be to make it roll it up into the spiral lightly spray down the sides and leave it to dry before hanging, this helps keeps the edges from curling.

Ok so on to the pattern, It is really easy just follow as says, The Windpsinner takes up more yarn than you believe you will need, I ended up using just under 100 g altogether. As you end you will be presented with a big squiggly piece left I will add a little video to show you how to stack the wind spinner to get it to hang evenly
