I have been asked several times How do you crochet an easy daisy granny square so I have broken it down into stages and written out the steps for you with some photos to help you get started.
TO crochet a daisy granny square you will need to be able to work in US terms), double crochet, slip stitches, join yarn colors, and work into spaces confidently.
NOTES:
How to work a (3 Double Crochet Cluster St) for this pattern will be written as Dc3tog
[ Yarn over and insert your hook into the next st.
Yarn over and Pull up a loop.
Yarn over and pull through 2 loops x 3.
When you have partially completed all 3 dcs and
You will have 4 loops on your hook

Yarn Over (now 5 Loops ) and Pull through all 5 loops to finish.We will chain 2 in between our cluster stitches for the Daisy.
Start with the Colour you wish the center to be (I used Yellow )
Rnd 1: Ch2. 12 dc into the 1st chain on the hook, slip to top of ch3 to join (12sts)

Change to White (or your preferred colour) and join with a slip stitch in any st to start
Round 2: Ch2, (counts as 1st half of the dc of the cluster)
Yarn over and insert your hook into the base of ch 2 stitch.
Yarn over and draw up a loop – 3 loops on hook.
Yarn over and pull through 2 loops – 2 loops on hook .
Yarn over and insert your hook into the same stitch space.
Yarn over and draw up a loop – 4 loops on hook.
Yarn over and pull through 2 loops – 3 loops on hook. Yarn over and pull through all 3 loops on your hook
This is the beginning cluster stitch the first dc3tog completed.
Ch2,
Full Cluster Stitch
-Yarn over and insert hook into the next st,
Yarn over draw up a loop (3 loops on hook)
Yarn over and pull through 2 loops = 2 loops on hook.
Yarn over insert your hook into the SAME stitch.
Yarn over and draw up a loop = 4 loops on hook
Yarn over and pull through 2 loops on hook.
Yarn over and insert your hook into the Same stitch.
Yarn over and draw up a loop = 5 loops on hook
Yarn over and pull through 2 loops - 4 loops on hook
Yarn over and Pull through all 4 loops on your hook
Repeat the full cluster Stitch 10 more times.
around = 12 petals (Pic Below)
Slip into the Top of the First ch3 to Join.
Fasten off and weave in ends.

With your chosen color yarn,
join with sl st in any Ch2 sp and ch3 (counts as first dc). 2dc in the same sp, work 3dc in next space.
*(3dc, ch2, 3dc)in next sp (corner), work 3dc in next 2 spaces* repeat from *to* 3 times in total.
3dc, ch2, 3dc in next sp, join with sl st to top ch3.
2nd Rnd:
TO start the round
[Slip 3 stitches along to the space just after
Round 1s ch3, 2dcs]
we will be working INTO the space created by the 3 dcs we worked in the previous round.
ch3 (counts as first dc). 2dc in the same sp, work 3dc in next 3 spaces ,
*(3dc, ch2, 3dc)in next sp (corner), work 3dc in next 3 spaces* repeat from *to* 3 times in total.
3dc, ch2, 3dc in next sp, join with sl st to top ch3.
If you wish to make the daisy granny square larger.
Continue working on the Pattern by Increasing
the number of 3dc sets made along each side of the square, and continue working corners as described.
SO Rnd 3: of the Square would be
[Slip 3 stitches along to the space just after
Round 1s ch3, 2dcs] we will be working
INTO the space created by the 3 DCS
we worked in the previous round.
ch3 (counts as first dc). 2dc in the same sp,
work 3dc in next 3 spaces,
*(3dc, ch2, 3dc)in next sp (corner),
work 3dc in next 3 spaces* repeat from *to* 3 times in total.
3dc, ch2, 3dc in next sp, join with sl st to top ch3.
