After the success of the Hettie the Hippo and The Crochet shark Fregal Shark'ey
My adorable Niece wanted me to crochet a little elephant for her ever-growing zoo animals amigurumi collection. Who am I to not do as she asks with those gorgeous sparkling eyes....
This is a fun easy ami project and shaping much depends on your stuffing and sewing the pieces together.
Please Note:
You should be familiar with amigurumi-style written patterns. some round counts will not be specified as you are asked to continue crocheting until the length is achieved.
However, I still do Use a marker and move on completion of every round.
shaping of hippo is all in the stuffing and the longer end of the body will be used to balance the head onto.
You will need a measuring tape. And will be asked to crochet until your piece is a certain length.
