How to crochet a bunny rabbit from a Square. This is probably one of the easiest cutest crochet stash-busting projects I have ever made.

The children love something crocheted by me at the holidays times. So of course, I have written a few patterns over the years.
Like the Little Easter Chick crochet pattern .
I LOVE this little chick and have switched up the head and body to make a more cartoonish Easter Chick

along with the many things I have made them, I especially love the little crochet ducks that were made for my grandson as he would laugh and laugh at the 5 little ducks nursery rhyme.
You will need a hook yarn, (And size and any weight) fiber toy stuffing, and a tapestry needle for sewing together.

Cost: Stash Busting Project
Materials:
Enough Yarn to make a square.
Fiber Toy filling
Tools:
3.50mm Hook
Yarn needle
Instructions:
1. Crochet a Square. This can be any size you wish.
chain 25, Ch1, turn Single crochet along to the last chain, Ch1, turn.
repeat working single crochet until work measures a square
The work MUST be Equal on both sides this will vary if your tension is tighter or looser,
you may find you need more or less to make the piece square
2. Starting at one side of square, weave an end of yarn making a triangle. (Like in Pic) Do not fasten off we need these long threads )
4. Create the rabbit's head and ears by pulling threads tightly, firmly pushing the stuffing in, and shaping as you are doing this.
5. Fill the body of your rabbit
6: Sew along the TOP of the Body and double stitch in the last stitch to SECURE the stitches (as we will be drawing closed the bottom.
7. Finish off by sewing down the backside of the rabbit, pulling here tightly to close the back, and then just add a small pom.
