FREE crochet pattern to create a beautiful Crochet Baby Blanket with the solid shell stitch to create a beautiful textured baby blanket and bonnet set. I love this stitch for creating lovely crochet sets for babies, it's one of those stitches that looks so impressive yet, is so simple.
This pattern was quickly whipped up when I was shown a picture of a stitch and asked if I would create a baby blanket and matching bonnet set using the stitch. I love it sometimes when given a little project like this, as it takes me right back to the basics of our craft, creating simple, stunning crochet projects.
Once you are in the rhythm, you can do this whilst watching your favorite film.
Finishing off the blanket with an easy frilly, lacy border and threading a ribbon around take this baby blanket into the totally cute category.
