This a free crochet pattern for a beautiful scarf, neck warmer
with the Famous Pineapple Design incorporated into it

I have spent hours and hours hunting everywhere for free crochet pattern to make a special, dressy scarf, cowl or neck warmer type project, to make for my mother-in-law. Last year she was a huge fan of the sashay ruffle scarves, and this year she wanted something a little different.
But still dressy enough to wear going out to lunch with the girls. I know my mother-in-law well, she is a very sharp dresser even at 70+ and wanted something classy, yet easy to wear. At this time of year, she likes to wear roll neck jumpers, so I didn't want to make her a full-length scarf or a cowl would not do as she would need to pull it on and off over her newly styled hair, so I felt as though a crochet collar or crochet scarf-let would be perfect for her.
The orders are flying in for this one, and I have even made myself one, and love the comments I get when I wear it.
This pattern is NOT for those who are beginners at crochet. The scarf can be worn several ways and finished off with a gorgeous easy crochet flower (Irish Rose) And In fact this was my first attempt at the intricate crochet pineapple design. I say intricate, once I began to see how the pineapple is made it was rather easy to make.

Pink Rose Crochet Pineapple Neckwarmer |
The Pattern for the actual scarf is not mine, and was originally on a ladies blog in Spanish, and now translated with permission by the original designer Pink Rose translated in English on Gotta Love it - SEE THE FULL PATTERN IN ENGLISH HERE
I used the simple Irish rose pattern, to finish off the scarf. I love this crochet flower for adding to hats, bags, purses, and anything that needs it! but you don't need to add a flower you can leave without or add you own embellishment.
