Free Crochet Patterns for Babies Cardigan and Blanket Set (The Perfect Crochet Set for a Boy or Girl)

Babies, babies and even more babies....It seems my whole family is expecting! And means I get to look at adorable crochet pattern for babies....Woo woo its just great news for me as I get to indulge in my most favorite pastime. Crocheting newborn baby items.
As you probably know by now I have taken a slight step back from producing and writing my own patterns (wondering what on earth I am talking about you can read my story here (Where Have I Been)

Anyway once I had completed the bigger projects for my aunt and uncle I was bought several balls of yarn (Blue and Cream) for the babies we are expecting within the family.
One is definitely a boy...lol the scan showed it clear as day hence the blue yarn.

The other little one will be a wonderful surprise. Hence  the Cream. Sidar Snuygly (BUY NOW)  It is so soft and snugly it makes me feel all yummy inside. Working with it is like being in heaven surrounded by little fluffy clouds (I know  overboard description but it IS awesome)

Trying to find a Crochet Set for a Boy was a task, and i started MANY crochet baby blanket patterns and got around a quarter of the way and just did not like how they were going to turn out...(more the yarn and textures than the actual designs which were lovely)

Anyway low and be-hold I ended up making one of my very own patterns for the baby blanket which was my own design
I finished off the border with larger shells (9dc, skip 2, sc in next, skip 2 ) repeated around.

I need help finding any of Dot Mathews Patterns. The site you give the patterns are non existant. I really would like the baby cardigan pattern that matches with your blanket pattern. Just one thing about the blanket pattern when I skip the turning chain on the end of the second row, it seems fine. Then when I reach the end of the third row as I finish it seems off a bit. Please help.

is where you will find the pattern as per link on this post.
I am unsure where you are going wrong, you will finish either with a 3dc or a sc. without seeing a photo of your project I can only assume you are not finishing/stating on a sc or a (2dc chain3)- hope this helps
