Crochet Hippo A Free Pattern Hettie the Hippo

FREE crochet pattern for this adorable little hippo. my niece as you may recall adores all animals, she is not a doll person, so I have been challenged over the years, to crochet her some animals to add to her collection, from frogs, to giraffes, dinosaurs and......a hippopotamus.
I actually quite like hippos they are too cute with their huge bodies, to their cute little ears, and curly little tails. How do'ya think we did?  Cute Huh? would you believe me if I said Easy too?

You can sew eyes directly, if giving to a very small child please ensure everything is completely secure and safe.  I would not recommend these safety eyes for any child under 6 years old.

Add a little bow as I did or tie a pretty bow around her neck. why not have a look at some of my other crochet Animal Patterns on this website and lets make a zoo together. As I think That is where my niece is heading wanting to own her own Zoo
